About Rie Charles

My father began my interest in photography as a little girl,  I use to go into his darkroom and watch him develope his black and white films.

My first camera was a 35mm, Pentax K1000 and had all the kit to go with it. Unfortunately my camera equipement got stolen before I got a chance to develope my skills and I never replaced it.

I started taking photographs when I got my first DSLR for my 50th birthday. It is a hobby that has turned my world upside down.  I love taking natural photo's especially when people are not aware that I am around, as I feel this gets the best result . I love taking photo's of nature at it's best, children when they are playing and being children as they are meant to be.

I want to show people what it is that I see through at the end of my lens when I am out and about.  My camera is never  far away and always close to hands waiting to capture that one perfect shot!

I am doing my first wedding in June as I was approached by a work colleague who loves my style in photography.  Hoping this is a start to my photagraphy career!
